CRANBROOK, December 4, 2018— Thanks to a generous donation from Isaac Hockley Real Estate, the Cranbrook Snowmobile Club will have an increase in opportunity to preserve their riding environment and promote ethical use of the backcountry with regional snowmobilers.

The mandate of the Cranbrook Snowmobile Club is to act as environmental stewards, promoting backcountry ethics and awareness, and promoting safety within the snowmobile industry in our area.

“Snowmobiling is an important part of Kootenay winter culture. There are hundreds of active snowmobilers in our area and many who come from out of the area to explore our backcountry. The Cranbrook Snowmobile Club puts in great effort to ensure both local and visiting snowmobilers are aware of local snowmobile trails, and the respect that is expected of our backcountry”, said Isaac Hockley.

Mike Plant, President of the Cranbrook Snowmobile Club appreciatively accepts the donation and acknowledges the support received. “Isaac and Gabby are active members of our Club and we are grateful for the support we receive from each of them. This financial donation and offer to continue to raise funds throughout the season are truly appreciated and is a demonstration of Isaac and Gabby’s respect for the Club and our backcountry.”

Isaac is a local real estate agent with Royal Lepage East Kootenay Realty. Gabrielle is a professional snowmobile athlete. Isaac will be donating funds to the Snowmobile Club for each listing that is bought or sold with Club members, throughout the winter season.
